This photo was taken in Southampton County, Virginia across from Johnson Mill Pond where corn was processed to make some of the best corn meal in the United States. If you ever had some, you might agree it’s the best in the world. The water in this pond was used to power the mill. While passing through the area, my eyes captured the vegetation surrounding the pond and how it formed the outline of the pond In various patterns. The reflection of the trees in the water and the formation of the clouds in the sky on that day, makes a one of a kind rendition; a piece of art. Hope you enjoy it.
